Download Steam Client for Mac

Now they have made it via Valve, the publisher has just put online the Mac version of its steam software, giving access to one of the largest library of online video games. Launched in 2004, steam was previously reserved only for PC. Valve fixes now shooting with a Mac client providing access to a catalog of games for Mac OS X. To celebrate this launch, Valve is offering free copy until 24 May of the game Portal, to recover for download on Steam.
Note that if the catalog of Mac games is necessarily more limited than the PC, Valve offers players to purchase once the same game and have, where technically feasible, PC and Mac versions of the same title. The games concerned are being tricked logo by “Steam Play.” Valve also states that it will add Mac games every Wednesday in its Steam catalog.

This is great news for Mac owners. But when will Linux version of Steam will be available, it is still unknown. I would love a little linux version to end multiboot. I hope that if mac version is released then soon linux version should not be hard to do and made available.

There are indications in the code of the Steam client which talks about Linux (for testing the platform). So I think that Linux is on track. The Linux version is underway, it could emerge in the summer. Files devoted to this linux version is already asleep on the site of steam, and some were even able to get a linux native version.

What are some fun games you can download online and run on Mac?My school gave us computers to, "enhance our learning experience." Needless to say, i have given the entire school an N64 emulator, and all we do is play Golden Eye in English class. I need to find more cool games and things that i can download online and play on a Mac so i dont have to learn. Leave me some websites. Note i dont want those stupid Mac games that you find on apple, i want cool games, like COD MW2
